5th day of waiting.

Today we bring you a small piece of information.

The game over screen. Once you have run out of time, you will be presented with the screen you will learn to hate 🙂

We have integrated sharing of your favourite score screen to Facebook and Twitter. This makes it easier to brag to others about just how much faster you are than them!

BubbleBath – Behind the scene

On the 4th day of waiting we want to take you a bit behind the scene.

I have been asked these question quite a few times, so I thought it would be a good idea to clarify.

Q: What setup do you use for development?
A: The hardware we use a 27″ iMac with a 24″ external monitor and a Wacom Cintiq 13HD. In screen real-estate this amounts to 2560×1400 + 1920×1200 + 1920×1080

The software we use; Xcode 6, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Flash Pro, SpriteBuilder as well as Pixelmator.

SpriteBuilder on the main screen. SpriteBuilder is a free IDE that we highly recommend!

Xcode comes with Mac OS X

Adobe Flash Pro; we use this for all the drawing basically.

Q: Why has it taken so long, from the release of Saga’s Zoo until this new release?

A: A few things have factored into this! There has passed a bit over 3 years since the last release and this has mostly been due to the fact that we have been moving. After the move we started work on a few different projects but in the end decided to put them on hold for now. After the release we will revisit some of these again.

If you have any questions you would like answered, then feel free to either ask them below or on any of our social media outlets, and we will try to answer them for the best we can 🙂

BubbleBath trailer

The 3rd day of waiting.

Today we bring you the BubbleBath gameplay trailer!

We kindly ask you to share! We would like to make children’s games fulltime, and the more we can get the word out, the sooner we can start working on the next project.

Donations page.

As the second piece of information about BubbleBath, while we wait for the release. We wanted to take the time to talk about charity work.

We feel that it is our responsibility to give to others, when others give to us. And what better way than to donate to child education, which we feel is right up our ally.

So for BubbleBath, we are going to donate a percentage of our income.

We have created a page on www.sagas-playground.com with information on how much we will be donating. Reports of the donations will be added as the donations are made.

This is again a screens capture from the in-game About.

BubbleBath is now awaiting review!

After over 1 month of waiting BubbleBath has finally been released and full information on the game can be found here.

A few hours ago BubbleBath was put in the review queue.
As always it can take up to 7 days before it will hit the store so stay tuned for news regarding the review status.

During the coming days we will be releasing information in regards to the game.
Here is the first screenshot from the game; Or more to the point, from the about screen:

BubbleBath - AboutUs

While we await the final approvals on an legal issue pertaining to a big international charity, we thought that we would give a status update on a new game we have been working on. The game is for all intents and purposes complete, only administrative issues left to be solved now. More information on this once everything has been set in stone!
Young Elvis will be getting his very own game!

It is the next extension to the skills children learned in Saga’s Zoo, and is intended for all ages from age 4 and up!
It should teach children hand-eye coordination, and who knows might even teach their parents some as well.

I got to warn you though, during development I have developed quite an addiction for this game my self 🙂

Saga’s Zoo v1.1

Saga's Zoo A few minutes ago Saga’s Zoo v1.1 went through Apple’s deployment review and is now available on the app store.

Big thanks to Apple’s testing team for the extremely fast processing!

Saga’s Zoo v1.1 going to Apples app review.

Good news everyone!

During the weekend we will be adding the Saga’s Zoo update to the app review queue.

I’m happy to report that internal testing has been successful, and the last administrative tasks are being looked into before submitting for review. Usually it takes around a week to get approval.

We have fixed all the outstanding bugs and added support for iPhone 6/+ as well as optimised memory usage.

When the update goes live we will feature a poll on our facebook page where you can vote wether you like the current graphics or perhaps would like the graphics to be exchanged for the new baby animals! Stay tuned, and come and visit at Saga’s Playground Facebook page
